The Legacy 4 headphones have been designed to bring a unique touch to the range, offering a middle ground in terms of fit and price. Using an all-new 8mm polyethylene dynamic driver for low frequencies, the Legacy 4 offers the impact of the Legacy 3 and 5, but with faster speed and improved texture. This new driver, combined with the proven design of the Knowles ED29689 American drivers and the intuitive low-midrange passive crossover, enhances a natural midrange presentation. With a less aggressive passive crossover than the Legacy 5's, the Legacy 4's mids offer a more musical experience that adds a very slight touch of warmth to the overall signature.
With the Bellsing partnership, Thieaudio developed a custom dual BA tweeter for these Legacy 4s. They tuned these headphones to bring more presence to the highs, emphasizing the harmonics and detail of the upper frequencies. This tuning, along with the extremely powerful treble extension, makes the Legacy 4 excellent in-ear monitors for the professional musician or music lover.
