Hybrid In-Ear Monitors IEM 5x Drivers Dynamic / Balanced Armature / Electrostatic
The Thieaudio Oracle MKII in-ear monitors were designed to provide a transparent sound reproduction, with the intent to mimic the tonal balance of professional studio monitors. It incorporates a hybrid technology, using an all-new 10mm LCP (Liquid Crystal Polymer) diaphragm dynamic driver, two Knowles Balanced Armature drivers and two Sonion electrostatic (EST) tweeters. These five drivers are combined with a three-way crossover, in which the frequency range of each driver is divided according to its best specifications. The brand's passive crossover solution minimizes total harmonic distortion (THD), ensures the best performance for each driver type and maximizes clarity across the entire audio spectrum.
On this model, the impact of the infrabass has been improved, while maintaining the neutrality of the midrange. Thus, the Oracle MKII is equipped with a 10mm LCP dynamic driver. The LCP diaphragm has a much higher surface tension than the previous generation of polycarbonate diaphragms. This results in a more responsive driver, allowing for more power in the sub-bass, while avoiding losses in the bass and mid-range. Thanks to these improvements, the Oracle MKII benefits from a 62.5% increase in core sub-bass frequencies (measured at 60Hz), while providing a neutral midrange in the 200Hz~1kHz band.
The soul of Oracle MKII IEM lies in their ability to provide neutral sound reproduction without adding sonic coloration. To achieve this, these IEMs incorporate a mathematically calculated crossover that precisely cuts off the dynamic driver at the point where the Balanced Armature drivers begin their midrange sound reproduction. These provide a neutral, uncolored midrange for complete audio transparency.
The advantage of Sonion's electrostatic transducers (EST) is the improved delivery of ultra-high frequencies. They offer a real extension of the high frequencies, for a reproduction of the audio spectrum up to 40kHz, thus delivering an incredibly rich and detailed sound. One of the distinguishing features of the EST speaker is its unique timbre, characterized by incredible transparency and slightly bright highs, allowing every micro-detail of the audio stream to be captured.
Designed to accompany you during long listening sessions, the Oracle MKII's dimensions have been reduced for a comfortable fit. Made from UV medical resin, the headphones are comfortable and durable.
The Thieaudio Oracle MKII earphones come with a high quality cable, featuring silver-plated OCC 5N copper Litz wire conductors, ensuring excellent conductivity for perfect signal transmission. In addition, the cable comes with an interchangeable connector, allowing it to be adapted to your source material. It comes with a balanced Jack 2.5mm and Jack 4.4mm connector, as well as a single-ended Jack 3.5mm connector.
