They feature a dynamic driver with a carbon and liquid crystal polymer diaphragm and polyurethane suspension to deliver textured bass and extended highs. Truthear Gate: Ø10mm dynamic driver

Truthear's Gate is based on a Ø10mm dynamic driver with a composite carbon and liquid crystal polymer (LCP) cone. The addition of carbon to traditional LCP diaphragms results in greater rigidity, improving the driver's sensitivity and high-frequency response. The polyurethane (PU) suspension that accompanies the new diaphragm ensures deep, textured bass.

Finally, the driver is accompanied by a large, ultra-thin CCAW voice coil, ensuring good frequency response without hindering the suspension system.

Truthear Gate: Well-balanced sound profile

The use of this new diaphragm coupled with an optimised acoustic structure results in minimal linear distortion and an extension in the reproduction of high frequencies. This amplitude of the frequency range meets the requirements of the HRTF characteristics and offers a balanced sound reproduction with measured bass.

Furthermore, the Gate exhibits an exceptionally low level of non-linear distortion, with less than 0.2% over the majority of the frequency band. This results in a very clean noise floor, allowing you to apply the equalisation of your choice without any negative effect on the final sound.
