The Aiyima A70 Mono is a class D amplifier based on a circuit comprising a TPA3255 amplifier chip and a NE5532 OPA. It is capable of delivering power up to 300W into 4 ohm. Featuring PFFB circuitry for low distortion and noise reduction, the Aiyima A70 Mono amplifier's signal output is greatly enhanced. In terms of performance, it is capable of maintaining a THD+N of 0.0001% and offers an SNR ≥ 116dB. Moreover, Aiyima has chosen to offer it audiophile components such as Rubycon 63V 3300µF, Nichicon and Wima capacitors.
Regarding the A70 Mono's controls, there are two large potentiometers on the front panel, a switch for selecting its “sub” or “full frequencies” mode on the bottom panel and a +6dB RCA gain control on the rear panel. Its connectors include a mono RCA input and a balanced XLR/Jack 6.35mm combo input, while its output features a speaker terminal and a subwoofer output for an active subwoofer. The speaker terminal output can also feed a passive subwoofer or a passive loudspeaker. The set is completed by a 3.5mm jack 12V trigger input and a small potentiometer for subwoofer crossover frequency adjustment (40-200kHz).
Benefiting from a TPA3255+NE5532 chips combo with PFFB circuitry, the Aiyima A70 Mono delivers up to 300W into 4 ohm. All this while maintaining a THD+N of 0.0001% and an SNR of ≥ 116dB. Furthermore, as the NE5532 OPA is DIP8-mounted, it can easily be replaced by different models. Here is a non-exhaustive list of compatible OPAs: RT3609SM, OPA2604, OPA2134, LM4562, JRC5532, OP275GSZ, OPA1612, etc.

A selector switch allows you to choose the operating mode of the A70 MONO, depending on whether you wish to supply a passive subwoofer or a passive loudspeaker.
A large heat sink on the underside of the Aiyima A70 MONO, coupled with side vents, enables it to handle high power levels over long periods of time without overheating. It also provides effective protection for its internal components.

" AIYIMA A70 MONO amplifier brings highly competent performance to the table with performance that beats majority of amplifiers I have tested. Yet it costs so little. Having balanced input, selectable gain for RCA and trigger are much appreciated... "
