Low Frequency Amplifier with EQ for Subwoofer and Exciter
Dayton Audio's DTA-100LF is a Class D low frequency amplifier specifically designed to drive a subwoofer or vibrator. Powerful, it is able to develop a maximum power of 100W under 4Ω or 70W under 8Ω. It also includes three crossovers and a variable phase control to protect, integrate and tune your speakers in any system.
An adjustable subsonic crossover is used to protect the speakers from over-excursion. A low-pass filter allows the speakers to be integrated with full-range speakers. Finally, a single-band parametric crossover helps manage peaks that may arise from the room acoustics themselves.
The Dayton Audio DTA-100LF is also capable of detecting an input signal to automatically turn on and off. It also comes in a convenient compact case with brackets for mounting under a shelf or desk, for example.
To use the power cable on European/French power outlets, an adapter sold separately is required.
