SMSL VMV A1 Pro: High-efficiency amplification with GaN FET transistors
The VMV A1 Pro uses GaN FET transistors for its amplifier stage. These transistors offer significantly higher efficiency than traditional silicon transistors, minimising energy losses during switching and reducing heat generation. Furthermore, GaN transistors are distinguished by their extremely high switching speed, of the order of 1MHz. This increased speed has several notable advantages: it eliminates switching noise in the circuits, considerably reducing background noise, and it allows a much faster response time, adapting instantly to variations in power demand for greatly improved audio dynamics.

The VMV A1 Pro incorporates a switched-mode power supply specially designed for demanding audio use.
