With the AD-3PRO+, Tonewinner offers a Class A integrated stereo amplifier rated at 2x165W at 8Ω, and relying on Toshiba 1941/5198 transistors and OPA 1656 to deliver warm, precise sound reproduction. Its numerous analog and digital inputs enable this device to fit into any possible configuration. Its integrated ES9038 DAC chip enables the AD-3PRO+ to handle and convert signals up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512.
Tonewinner AD-3PRO+: Amplification Classe A
The amplification stage of the Tonewinner AD-3PRO+ features 21 Toshiba 1941/5198 transistors in a Class A/AB circuit. These enable the amplifier to deliver a substantial 165W RMS per channel at 8Ω. Moreover, a total of 9 Texas Instrument OPA 1656 are included to deliver warm-toned sound reproduction.
Tonewinner AD-3PRO+: NJW 1195A volume control chip
The AD-3PRO+'s volume control is based on an NJW 1195A chip with an extremely low noise level of -118dB and 0.5dB step control. The choice of this chip results in an extremely low distortion rate, while maximizing channel separation.
Tonewinner AD-3PRO+: Substantial power supply
In order to deliver such power, the Tonewinner AD-3PRO+ is equipped with a large power supply, including a high-performance 600W toroidal transformer. 8 large filter capacitors with a total capacity of 80000µF ensure a clean, stable electrical signal.
Tonewinner AD-3PRO+: Balanced analog input and phono amplifier
Furthermore, in addition to the classic Single-ended RCA inputs, the AD-3PRO+ also features a stereo balanced XLR input, offering ever lower distortion. You can also connect a vinyl turntable via the MC and MM-compatible phono input.
Tonewinner AD-3PRO+: Plentiful digital inputs
In addition than its analog inputs, the AD-3PRO+ offers a multitude of digital inputs to suit any configuration. These include a coaxial input, two Toslink optical inputs and a USB-B input. The USB input is equipped with a CT7601PR interface, which, in conjunction with the ES9038 DAC, can handle and decode signals up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and DSD512.
Tonewinner AD-3PRO+: Bi-wiring and subwoofer
With its dual speaker terminals, the Tonewinner AD-3PRO+ offers the possibility of bi-wiring. This method of connecting speakers can improve sound quality by reducing the magnetic interaction of cables. Furthermore, the AD-3PRO+ offers both balanced and single-ended subwoofer outputs, opening up the possibility of a 2.1 installation.
Tonewinner AD-3PRO+: Class A/AB switch
The Tonewinner AD-3PRO+ has three operating modes: Class A, Class AB or Auto. A switch allows you to select the most suitable mode according to your needs and installation. Auto mode automatically switches from Class A to Class AB when the unit reaches a certain temperature limit, and back to Class A if the temperature drops.

The internal design of the AD-3PRO+ has been engineered to physically separate the different sections of the device, ensuring excellent isolation. This design effectively limits interference and noise.
