An evolution of the WiiM Amp connected amplifier, the WiiM Amp Pro retains the features and functions of its predecessor, but with a few notable improvements. The WiiM Amp Pro, a high-performance connected amplifier, now features an ES9038Q2M DAC chip supporting sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 384kHz. In addition, the Class D amplification circuit using a TPA3255 chip sees its performance enhanced by the integration of an advanced feedback design (Post Filter Feedback - PFFB) for an equivalent power of 2x100W at 4 ohms.
In terms of connectivity, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connections are now in Bluetooth 5.3 and WiFi 6E. DLNA and Chromecast transmission protocols are still available, as is the WiiM Home application for easy control of your amplifier and access to numerous streaming platforms such as Spotify, Tidal, Deezer and Qobuz.
As far as the device's form factor and connectivity are concerned, the changes are minor. Inputs include USB, HDMI ARC, Toslink optical and RCA, while outputs include speaker terminals and a subwoofer output, enabling the WiiM AMP PRO to be integrated into a 2.1-channel system for an immersive TV or home-cinema experience.

A true network player, the WiiM Amp Pro features a WiFI 6E connection and an RJ45 Ethernet port. DLNA, Spotify Connect and Chromecast transmission protocols are supported, enabling you to access your music library in a variety of ways, whether it's networked on your computer, NAS or smartphone.
The WiiM Home app also gives you easy access to streaming platforms and web radios: Spotify, Deezer, Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Napster, iHeartRadio and TuneIn.
To top it all off, the WiiM Amp Pro also features two-way Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity for pairing with headphones or Bluetooth speakers.
The new ES9038Q2M DAC chip enables the WiiM Amp Pro to support ultra-high-resolution 32bit 384kHz PCM streams. The combination of this DAC chip with a TPA3255 amplifier chip with PFFB (Post Filter Feedback) boosts the performance of the WiiM Amp Pro, with a THD+N of just 0.0005% (-105dB) and an SNR of 120dB. In terms of power output, 2x100W at 4 ohms and 2x60W at 8 ohms are more than sufficient to drive bookshelf speakers, or even small column speakers.
Intuitive and user-friendly, the WiiM Home application lets you control the WiiM Amp Pro remotely for an enhanced user experience. A gateway to various streaming services, the application also gives you access to various WiiM Amp Pro parameters, such as a 10-band parametric equalizer and predefined profiles.
The WiiM Amp Pro is compatible with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice assistants thanks to the built-in microphone on its Bluetooth remote control, or via the association of a connected speaker from one of these systems.
The WiiM Amp Pro can be used as a stand-alone unit or combined with other units in a multiroom system. This makes it possible to distribute music throughout the home from a centralized control point, via the WiiM Home mobile application. Playback and volume can then be managed either synchronously for all devices, or independently for each piece of equipment.
Multiple devices can be linked in multiroom mode with any compatible LinkPlay device, or with AVS Multiroom technology.
A new feature of the WiiM AMP Pro is its multiroom EQ auto-correction system.
The WiiM Amp Pro has all the essentials in terms of connectivity, but also takes on the advantages of its predecessor, with an HDMI ARC input and a subwoofer output.

"Almost all measurements have an “excellent” subjective rating, showing that the company has paid attention to every aspect of the design. The Amp Pro is an improvement on the original version in every aspect. The design of the device is of very good quality, with support for streaming services and sophisticated applications. The price is quite reasonable for all this functionality, power and performance."
