With the A-S301, Yamaha offers a versatile Class AB amplifier with both analog and digital inputs. The A-S301 is a versatile Class AB amplifier with both analog and digital inputs, and incorporates high-quality components in a circuitry optimized for musical and accurate sound reproduction.
ToP-ART Technology
The A-S301 is based on the brand's ToP-ART (Total Purity Audio Reproduction Technology), ensuring optimal processing and transmission of the input signal, which remains low in noise and distortion. This particular architecture is based on a direct balanced design. It is also associated with the ART (Anti-Resonance and Tough) technology, promoting a better damping and a greater rigidity of the chassis. This design allows the A-S301 to offer a rich sound reproduction.
High quality components
All the circuits of the A-S301 use quality audio components: custom power transformer, single point grounding system, extruded aluminum heat sink... A set that allows the amplifier to handle without difficulty any audio signal while promoting a great sound precision.
Pure Direct mode
The A-S301's Pure Direct mode allows the audio signal to bypass all tone and balance control circuits. This ensures better sound quality while preserving the power of the amplifier. A method that allows for a transparent and musical reproduction.
Loudness function
The A-S301's front-panel Loudness function allows you to adjust the balance of high and low frequencies while preserving a full tonal range regardless of the volume level. It can thus be a useful tool for composing the natural loss of high and low frequencies when the sound level is low.
A complete connectivity
Versatile, the A-S301 benefits from a particularly complete connectivity, offering both digital and analog inputs. It has no less than seven stereo RCA inputs, to connect all your sources. On the digital side, the amplifier offers a Toslink optical and coaxial input as well as a USB-A port for connecting a USB storage device. For its outputs, the A-S301 provides two pairs of speaker terminals, as well as a subwoofer output on RCA.
A simple and sophisticated design
The A-S301 inherits the simple and modern design of many of the brand's products. With an elegant and qualitative finish, it matches perfectly with any other HiFi equipment. All the control buttons have been designed to be easily accessible for intuitive use.
Eco Mode & Auto standby
The Yamaha A-S301 has a power management system that detects long periods of non-use (8 hours) when it is left on. After this time, the amplifier automatically switches to standby mode for reduced power consumption.
