Ian Canada's TransportPi AES is an AES/EBU and SPDIF digital interface board. It is the first model to use a 1bit 50Mbps differential driver and a dedicated femtosecond clock to achieve the highest possible signal quality and very low noise for both AES/EBU and SPDIF outputs. The module also incorporates an excellent 1bit discrete reclocker, similar to the ReClockPi, to provide extremely low jitter. The TransportPi AES is thus positioned as a true flagship in the field of audiophile AES/EBU and SPDIF interfaces, allowing a significant improvement in the sound quality of an external DAC.
Key features :
The TransportPi AES operates in synchronous clock mode. It requires the addition of a FifiPiMa, FifoPiQ7 or FifoPiQ3 add-on module (sold separately) to operate.
