Jantzen Audio Alumen Z-Cap capacitors are based on the Silver Gold Z-Cap series with a more neutral and musical tonal presence. This Aluminium Polypropylene series provides a more balanced presentation without the excessive brightness of other high-end capacitors exaggerating the upper parts of the audio spectrum.

This series has a finer dielectric than other capacitors on the market. This avoids memory defects in the insulators for a fast transfer of electrons between each winding (very low resistance in ESR series). Jantzen Audio Alumen capacitors are therefore particularly fast, offering harmonics worthy of the best oil paper capacitors, without the harmonic discolourations typical of the latter.

Jantzen Audio Alumen Z-Cap capacitors are therefore ideal for filtering high-end dome tweeters such as ScanSpeak Illuminator, Revelator, Dynaudio Esotec or SB Acoustics Satori. They are also ideal for Fountek NEO and Dayton AMT, ESS or RADIA tweeters. The welding wires are made of OCC Copper. These capacitors are also excellent for coupling in transistor amplifiers where the nominal voltage is sufficient (100VDC).
