Jantzen Audio's Compact MKT capacitors are made from the highest quality metallized polyester film available. Jantzen Audio has succeeded in making these capacitors more compact and giving them better sonic properties than standard film capacitors. With a nominal voltage of 160V DC, these capacitors are also more versatile than electrolytic capacitors, whose nominal voltage is usually only 63V DC or 100V DC. Thanks to their rounded square shape (flat top and bottom surface), they can be easily stacked when it's necessary to couple several capacitors in parallel to achieve a higher capacitance value for a certain crossover position. Stackable, they also take up much less space than equivalent round values.
