LHY AUDIO LPS-A6 230V Linear Power Supply Module for EverSolo DMP-A6

The LPS-A6 linear power supply module developed by LHY Audio has been specially designed to improve the power supply stage of the EverSolo DMP-A6 and DMP-A6 Master Edition streamers by replacing the original switching power supply. The LPS-A6, manufactured by LHY Audio, provides the streamer with improved performance.

LHY Audio LPS-A6: Linear power supply

First of all, the LPS-A6 power supply from LHY Audio has the immense advantage of being a linear power supply, which has several advantages over the original decoupled power supply. Firstly, because of the way it works, this type of power supply generates no high-frequency noise, making it naturally quieter and easier to filter. Furthermore, this type of power supply tends to offer a much more stable output voltage with very little fluctuation or ripple, an essential quality in power supplies for HiFi equipment that is very sensitive to this type of disturbance.

LHY Audio LPS-A6: Low-noise power supply

In order to offer the quietest possible power supply, LHY's LPS-A6 incorporates two LT3042 ultra-low-noise voltage regulators in a symmetrical architecture, ensuring a noise floor of less than 10μV where the original EverSolo DMP-A6 power supply is measured at 1.222mV.

LHY Audio LPS-A6: Triple shielding of the toroidal transformer

Still with a view to offering the cleanest possible power supply, the toroidal transformer is triple-shielded, protecting it from environmental EMI noise while preventing the transformer's magnetic field from impacting on the audio signal.

LHY Audio LPS-A6: Non-destructive modification

Finally, it's important to note that changing the EverSolo DMP-A6 power supply is non-destructive. In fact, LHY offers a fixing system identical to the original power supply, so you can simply replace it without having to adapt the frame.
