The Dayton Audio iMM-6C is a microphone specially designed to deliver professional-quality measurements. Each iMM-6C microphone is individually calibrated using laboratory measurement microphones. This meticulous calibration process guarantees reliable, reproducible measurements. A unique serial calibration file is available for each iMM-6C. This calibration file can be used by most iOS and Android audio analysis applications.
The iMM-6C incorporates a CM6542 ADC/DAC that accurately converts acoustic information into data that can be used with any acoustic measurement software that supports external equipment. With a THD+N of just 0.001%, the ADC operates perfectly transparently, offering maximum precision from input to output. The iMM-6C's output jack lets you play frequency sweeps and noise from your host device for an all-in-one setup.
The omnidirectional pick-up pattern of the Dayton Audio iMM-6C microphone offers a wide range of advantages and possibilities. Using an omnidirectional electret condenser capsule, this microphone is designed to pick up sound equally in all directions.
