The Tonewinner T-2 microphone, in combination with a compatible amplifier, allows you to automatically measure and apply an acoustic correction according to your listening room. Your amplifier can then apply an appropriate equalization to optimize the sound reproduction of your system. The microphone is compatible with all Tonewinner home theater amplifiers and AV processors, such as the AT-2300, AT-2000, AT-300 or AT-7300HD.

Using the microphone

Very simple to use, the T-2 microphone automatically takes measurements to provide an equalization consistent with your listening room. All you have to do is :

1. Set the volume of the amplifier to about 70%..
2. Connect the microphone to the amplifier via the dedicated plug.
3. Place the microphone at your listening position.
4. Keep the room quiet and avoid moving during the testing process. The test takes 1 to 3 minutes depending on the number of speakers used.
5. On your amplifier, go to the menu, then to the acoustic test option and finally to the automatic room test.
6. When the process is complete, click Apply to save the equalization.
7. Unplug the microphone and enjoy your properly equalized system.
