The 215 Signature is an evolution of the 215 RTF. It is the culmination of the Supravox experiment on membrane treatments and optimization of the motor / coil torque.
The motor and the coil have been modified to provide this loudspeaker with a greater diaphragm travel or better bass reproduction without dynamic compression.
The linear excursion increases from +/- 2mm (RTF versions) to +/- 4mm. It offers a deep deeper tense and precise.
All this is paid for by a sensitivity of 94dB / W.
This 215 is to favor for the followers of a very balanced listening. Without the bicone the response is linear up to 10 kHz.
