The xDuoo XD05 BAL is an enhanced version of the portable headphone amplifier XD05 PLUS. Its digital/analog conversion stage has been updated, its Bluetooth wireless connectivity is now directly integrated and it now benefits from a balanced output.

Comfortable power output

With a power reserve of 1000mW under 32Ω, the XD-05 Plus has a comfortable power output that allows it to accompany many headphone models without difficulty.

Dual ESS9038Q2M DAC & XMOS XU208 Interface

A major change for this BAL version of the XD05 is that the XD05 now carries two ESS ES9038Q2M DAC chips, each one handling one channel. These provide high quality, pure and accurate sound reproduction, while supporting high-resolution audio streams up to 32bit 768kHz PCM and DSD256.

This conversion stage is notably associated with a fast and reliable XMOS XU208 USB interface.

A particularly complete connection system

The XD05 BAL benefits from full and versatile connectivity. It features digital inputs from USB-C, AES/EBU and Optical / Coaxial shared on a 3.5mm jack connector. For its outputs, the XD05 BAL offers an unbalanced 6.35mm jack and a balanced 4.4mm jack. Finally, a 3.5mm jack connector can be used as an auxiliary input or output.
