AK4493EQ DAC

At the core of the digital/analog conversion stage, a 32-bit AKM AK4493EQ chip with Velvet Sound technology contributes greatly to precise, dynamic and musical reproduction. This allows the S9 to display a THD+N of -113dB and a dynamic range of 123dB.

The AK4493EQ supports high-resolution files up to 32bit 768kHz PCM and DSD512.

Headphone amplifier

Although it is particularly compact, the S9 is not lacking in resources. It is indeed capable of developing a power of 2x 125mW on its balanced output and 2x 90mW on its unbalanced output.

Balanced / Single-Ended

The S9 adapts to your listening device by offering a dual output: unbalanced 3.5mm jack and balanced 2.5mm jack. It is thus capable of accompanying the vast majority of headphones and headphones on the market.

Design

Elegant, the Hidizs S9 is dressed in a sturdy CNC-machined aluminum casing and glass front. An LED illuminating the brand logo indicates the sampling rate of the file being played.

Connecté à Qobuz, je l'utilise en sortie d'une tablette Samsung S5e, branché sur un casque Grado GW 100. Superbe définition, reconnait les fichiers HiRes. Très satisfait. Je me dis que j'aurais peut-être du attendre le nouveau modèle S9 Pro. Mais tant pis, je très satisfait. Merci Audiophonics pour la livraison rapide.
