Uncompromising design

While Ikko has designed its ITM05 to result in a compact format that fits in a pocket, no concessions have been made on the selected components and architecture to ensure high performance. Thus, the symmetrical digital/analog conversion stage includes a pair of Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips, each managing one channel, ensuring great sound accuracy while considerably limiting power consumption. ITM05 measurements are therefore very good, with a THD at 0.0008% and an SNR at 122dB. In addition, it is capable of reading high-resolution files up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256.
