With the Dawn Pro, Moondrop unveils a high-performance, affordable portable balanced DAC headphone amplifier. Two CS43131 DAC chips enable the Dawn Pro to support high-resolution sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256. Its balanced architecture incorporates quality components such as a CT7601 USB interface connected to its USB-C input port, two independent crystal oscillators and three independent LDO power supplies. This is what enables it to achieve ultra-low distortion, ultra-low noise performance with rich, detailed sound while consuming very little power. Two outputs are available: a single-ended Jack 3.5mm and a balanced Jack 4.4mm. The Dawn Pro is capable of driving a wide range of headphones, thanks to its output power of up to 4vrms / 120mW.
This portable DAC offers volume control via physical buttons on the case. This enables smooth volume control over 100 levels. This volume control feature will deliver better performance than your source device, whose volume is isolated from that of the Dawn Pro.
The Dawn Pro offers excellent performance, with a dynamic range of 132dB, a distortion level of 0.0001% and an SNR of 131dB for its balanced output. In terms of output power, it features 4Vrms for its balanced Jack 4.4mm output and 2Vrms for its Jack 3.5mm output, enabling it to adapt to a wide range of headphones and earphones on the market, from low-impedance to high-impedance. This headphone DAC/Amplifier will adapt to your preferences and deliver a pure, high-quality listening experience.
The Dawn Pro's aluminum case incorporates a ventilation system for efficient heat dissipation. Its design corresponds to the standards of desktop devices, enabling prolonged use with constant performance in an ultra-compact, portable case.
