SMSL D10 Portable DAC Headphone Amplifier 2xCS43131 PCM 32bit 384kHz DSD256 Gray
The SMSL D10 is a high-performance portable headphone amplifier/DAC. It is based on the use of two Cirrus Logic CS43131 chips, enabling it to support sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256. These chips also provide substantial headphone amplification, with output power up to 500mW @ 32 ohm and a dynamic range of 121dB. As for the D10's connectivity interface, we find the essentials with a USB-C input and two headphone outputs: 3.5mm jack and balanced 4.4mm jack. Moreover, despite its affordability, SMSL has given its D10 a minimalist, high-end design, with transparent circuitry.
SMSL D10: a high-performance portable DAC
Two Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chips give the SMSL D10 the ability to support high-fidelity sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and native DSD up to DSD256. This makes the SMSL D10 a perfect ally for anyone wishing to enjoy high-fidelity sound reproduction for headphone listening.
SMSL D10: a powerful headphone amplifier
The two Cirrus Logic CS43131 chips, in addition to converting the digital signal into analog, also amplify the latter to drive a wide range of headphones and IEMs on the market. In fact, the D10 can drive headphones with impedances ranging from 16 ohm to 600 ohm, with power ratings of up to :

- 500mW @ 32 ohm
- 160mW @ 150 ohm
- 80mW @ 300 ohm
- 40mW @ 600 ohm
SMSL D10: a minimalist, high-end design
The design of the SMSL D10 is reminiscent of many high-end products, thanks to the use of transparent glass to reveal the device's internal circuitry. Two buttons on the side of the device control output volume, for a pleasant user experience.
