The Topping NX2S is both easy to use and extremely effective, offering you a whole new dimension in headphone listening. Both DAC and amplifier, it will allow you to enjoy both an accurate digital-to-analog conversion and a considerable power boost for dynamic listening.
The NX2S benefits from Hi-Res Audio certification, the promise of high quality file support and beautiful playback. But the Topping amplifier / DAC goes further by pushing the limits of this certification by ensuring a frequency response between 20Hz and 100kHz. A nomadic amplifier / DAC ideal for your Android or iOS smartphone, thanks to its fine sound reproduction as well as its compactness.
The NX2S conversion stage is based on a PCM5101A DAC from Texas Instruments perfectly adapted for a powerful mobile device. This chip supports PCM sampling rates up to 32bit 192kHz and reduces noise, EMI interference and jitter (thanks to its PLL).
The entire design of the NX2S is impeccable, offering high quality components, always with the objective of providing excellent audio quality in a reduced and easily transportable format. Thus, there are operational amplifiers TI OPA1658 and LMH6643 but also a digital input stage based on a SaviAudio Bravo DA9226 chip.
To accompany you throughout your travels, the NX2S Topping carries a 1000mAh battery. It can be read for 40 hours or 5 hours in DAC mode. Charging the DAC is done directly, in just a few hours, via a dedicated Micro USB port.
This OTG amplifier / DAC by its format is particularly suitable for mobile use with an OTG Android or iOS smartphone but will prove equally powerful alongside a computer for example. Because of this versatility, Topping provides a multitude of cables, allowing you to associate the NX2S to each of your devices.
The NX2S even provides an analog input as a 3.5mm jack to act as a headphone amplifier for non-OTG smartphones.
