Mundorf MCap Supreme Silver Oil are capacitors with an oil-impregnated metallized polypropylene dielectric. As the name suggests, high purity Silver is used for the capacitor coating and the winding is impregnated with a special oil that has been developed through extensive testing and listening. These characteristics contribute to a more complete and softer tonal richness and diversity. The metallized Polypropylene foils allow to maintain extremely low tolerances that cannot be reached with traditional oil/paper capacitors.

It is also the first time that the advantages of oil-impregnated capacitors are successfully combined with the long-term stability of metallized paper and internal wiring in series for induction-free performance.
