Mundorf VS140 coils are high performance models for low frequency filtering. The core is made of Feron and the wire of copper, receiving a heat treatment after production. This treatment gives them an optimal internal structure for good magnetic characteristics, offering very low losses and low distortion. Their power handling is also higher than for conventional ferrite core coils. The "Baked Varnish" finish of the BS71, BS100, BS140 and VS140 series allows for low vibration and a large wire diameter for reduced electrical resistance.
