Metal foil coils are physically the best designed. The output quality is constant up to 100kHz and unwanted capacitive loads are very low. The stability of the coil is also remarkable: thanks to the large contact area between the winding and the polypropylene insulator, vibrations are eliminated.

These characteristics are shown in the graph below. The Foil Coil generates much less vibration. This allows for musical reproduction with extremely low distortion. Combined with their excellent electrical properties, these coils reproduce a more dynamic and clearer sound than conventional coils.
