The Mundorf MCoil Drum Core Ferrite selfs are made of OFC Copper wire. They are developed for applications requiring small dimensions, low distortion and the lowest possible internal resistance, while maintaining an excellent price/quality ratio. The tone quality developed by this range of coil is a perfect balance between the neutral and harmonious sound of a classic coil and the natural dynamics of an HP3616.
