Mundorf MCoil coils combine the low basic output distortion and low internal resistance of Feron core coils with the enhanced dynamic performance of copper wire, with an annealed wire treatment. They are ideally suited for use as high-quality mid-frequency filters in subwoofer applications. They also offer excellent value for money and benefit from a compact format. In the resin dipping process, the coil is first impregnated with a special varnish down to the innermost turns, then dried at 130°C.
