Mundorf TubeCap capacitors are made from a Polypropylene film with special features. It is particularly thin and self-healing. This allows TubeCap capacitors to achieve a higher maximum operating voltage with rather compact dimensions.

These capacitors combine high dielectric strength with low residual inductance. They have been developed to offer a high quality alternative to high voltage electrochemical capacitors and are therefore ideal for use in tube amplifiers.
