This new version now offers a dedicated hole for an infrared receiver, a micro SD card port, and of course the new Raspberry Pi 3.
A complete streamer, ready to use electronically, all you have to do is install a software solution. The Volumio system is particularly well suited for this purpose, allowing a simple installation with an intuitive and fluid interface, while ensuring high quality sound reproduction. It can be controlled via any connected device thanks to the web interface, it will perfectly match your RaspDAC. In addition, to work it is necessary to select under Volumio the corresponding driver, available in the "Downloads" tab of this page.

This evolution of our RaspDAC is now much faster thanks to the implementation of Raspberry Pi 3, has a hole for an infrared receiver, and a micro SD card reader offset, when it was difficult to access to the first version.
OptAUDIOPHONICS integrates the famous DAC I-TDA1387 24bit / 192Khz equipped with a TCXO precision clock. It takes the subjective advantages of the R2R DACs by providing a sound stability and a seating without the dissonance effects of the newer sigma delta DACs.
OfPlus, its advanced ATX power management with different possible shutdown modes offer a high level of ease of use. It has all the inputs / outputs necessary for its connection, its power supply (Jack DC5.5 / 2.1mm), an HDMI port, a micro SD card port and an OLED display.
