RaspTouch LTE
Network touch audio player Raspberry Pi 3 B+
The RaspTouch LTE, based on a Raspberry Pi 3 B+ is a compact and ergonomic solution to create a network drive capable of powering any audio installation. It is equipped with a 7" touch screen with excellent resolution and offers comfortable use.
After installing the audio playback solution of your choice, the RaspTouch offers the possibility to play audio files of all types (MP3, Flacs, Web radio...) and send them to an amplifier or DAC with USB connection.

All these solutions allow the RaspTouch network drive to be controlled from a smartphone or tablet, either through a dedicated application or by accessing a web page. The reading controls are therefore accessible remotely for greater comfort.
Total flexibility
This version being delivered without DAC or output interface, it is completely scalable at hardware level. You can therefore choose to add an audio module on the GPIO port, be it a DAC, a digital interface, or even an amplifier.
However, be careful with the orientation of the outputs, which can restrict the inclination range even when using angled adapters.
You can also use your "classic" DAC or FDA amplifier by connecting it directly to the USB port. In addition to that the accessible USB ports will allow you to connect a USB Key, an external hard disk (self-powered) or any kind of compatible device
Multiroom support
Most software solutions based on LMS or Volumio allow to control other drives on the network using the same protocol. You can thus constitute a network of multi-room readers. It is also possible to connect this Rasptouch LTE in wifi, thus facilitating the implementation of the network.
An installation that adapts to your projects
The RaspTouch LTE is delivered pre-assembled, it can be wall mounted, installed or screwed on any flat surface to adapt to any type of use. It is powered from a 5.1V 2A source in micro USB format.
Prerequisites
The operating system must be flashed on the Micro SD card before you can use the RaspTouch LTE. If you do not have a Micro-SD / USB adapter, the latter being available here. The Micro-SD card can be accessed by unclipping the flap on the right back.
The installation of an audio software is detailed on our blog by following this link. The main operating systems available require a DHCP compatible network (i.e. with a router, such as an internet box for example). Depending on the software chosen, the hotspot or connection sharing of a smartphone may not be enough, usually an internet box providing an IP (DHCP) facilitates the connection. The Volumio 2 solution makes it easy to create a hotspot.
