I2S output via HDMI native

In this photo, the S5 in Aune is connected to a DAC Asterion strap (not included) via I2S through HDMI. Such association allows to benefit from a digital stream of exceptionally fine, especially with the formats of the most demanding sound files.

Besides the possibility to connect an external hard drive, USB drive or MicroSD card, especially the S5 has a mSATA slot. It may well have its own storage space and operate in total autonomy provided to install such equipment there.

Effective power stage

His power brings great precision thanks to a transformer specially adapted to the constraints of such a digital circuit, two independent power supply as well as several secondary controllers with ultra-low voltage. The logical processors and doors involved in reading and enjoy a stable and reliable supply from the perspective of audio quality.

Compatible CD player

By connecting a USB CD drive to S5, the latter can directly retrieve the audio stream and function as an interface for high-fidelity playback, effectively linking the player to the rest of the string while applying its own computing power.
