LHY Audio offers us their SW-10 network switch. This switch features 8 RJ45 Ethernet ports, 2 SFP fiber optic ports and an input and output connected to the 10mHz OCXO clock. All of this is housed in an elegant anodized aluminum case, machined from solid, and designed to separate AC power processing, DC power processing and audio signal processing.

LHY Audio SW-10: A noise-free, stable power supply

For its power supply, the SW-10 deploys two Talema 15VA encapsulated transformers coupled to an RFI suppression filter. Once transformed, the current passes through a low-drop multi-stage low-dropout voltage regulator and a voltage rectifier to ensure the cleanest possible power supply.

LHY Audio SW-10 : An OCXO master clock at the heart of everything

As far as signal processing is concerned, LHY Audio's SW-10 Gigabit switch circuit is based on Cisco's professional series. This network switch offers 8 RJ45 Ethernet ports and 2 SFP optical fiber ports. Not only that, the SW-10 has a 10mHz OCXO clock at its heart, linked to a BNC input and output. So you can use this network switch as a master clock to synchronize other external sources, or simply resynchronize the input signal. The input is configurable as a sine wave or square wave in 50 Ω, while the output is square wave only in 50Ω or 75Ω. Finally, the OCXO clock is coupled to a PLL phase-locked loop.
