The Elipson Prestige Facet 6B is part of a complete range of high-fidelity loudspeakers, for which the French manufacturer unveils numerous technological innovations. The most obvious is the faceted crown, surrounding each speaker, and giving its name to the range: Facet. The whole series benefits from a rigorous design, with the aim of optimizing the acoustic performances, as well as a meticulous finish for an easy integration in all interiors.

The Elipson PF6B compact loudspeaker features a 14cm diameter mid-bass driver with a central ogive to limit turbulence, a cause of distortion. The tweeter is a 25mm diameter dome model. These transducers are made according to very demanding specifications. Exclusive to the Prestige Facet range, a custom-made synthetic rubber crown surrounds each driver to limit the baffle effect and diffraction. The response curve is thus less disturbed and more linear, for a soft and musical listening experience.

The cabinet of the speaker is not to be outdone, and also benefits from a very careful design. The front panel is made of two materials of different densities and thicknesses to eliminate internal vibrations and resonances as much as possible. The cabinet also incorporates numerous internal reinforcements. The steeply sloped filtering system uses audiophile components.

The facade is just as neat, lacquered and has high-quality vinyl cladding. At the rear, a high-end double terminal block allows bi-wiring or bi-amplification. The contacts of these terminal blocks are silver plated to maximize conductivity and thus promote signal transmission.

From a sound point of view, the Prestige Facet 6B are characterized by a great neutrality and accuracy. Devoid of any coloration, they deliver the audio message without adding or subtracting anything to the original recording, each piece being reproduced faithfully, masterfully and without aggressiveness. Conceived in an audiophile approach, these loudspeakers are designed to be associated with any high-fidelity amplifier with a power less than or equal to 70W per channel.
