The DD TC44C is an extremely compact but very powerful portable DAC, particularly suitable for association with a smartphone. It integrates a USB-C input and a dual output on single-ended 3.5mm jack and balanced 4.4mm jack. Taking advantage of a careful design oriented audio performance, its balanced digital / analog conversion circuit embeds a pair of Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chips ensuring a wide dynamic range, low distortion, and supporting high sampling rates, up to 32bit 384kHz PCM and DSD256 native. Its internal wiring is also optimized, using OCC copper conductors and silver solder (3%), ensuring excellent conductivity.

The TC44C also features a handy LED indicator, positioned around its 4.4mm jack connector, indicating the type of signal received: blue for a PCM stream, green for a DSD stream. The DAC comes with a high-quality MFi06S Lightning cable, featuring silver-plated OCC copper conductors and double PTFE / TPU insulation.
