The iBasso DC04Pro portable DAC and headphone amplifier combines carefully selected components with advanced technologies to provide excellent performance and a sound reproduction that is as rich and precise as it is transparent. The DC04Pro can be used both at home and on the move to enjoy high quality music listening at all times.
Dual CS43131 DAC
The digital to analog conversion part of the DC04Pro is entrusted to a pair of Cirrus Logic CS4313 DACs and has their Master HiFi™ technology on board, offering incredible performance and very high sound quality.
Ultra low noise synchronous DC-DC converter & LDO
As the quality of the power supply has a direct impact on the sound reproduction, the DC04Pro is equipped with a DC-DC converter and a high speed, low noise LDO to provide a clean and stable electrical signal to all the circuits.
Two RT6863 OPAs
The DC04Pro also embeds two TR6863 OPAs, forming a fully balanced amplifier with very low distortion. This one is capable of delivering 280W of power under 32Ω.
FPGA & KDS Femtosecond Clock
iBasso uses its own FPGA algorithm for the first time in a portable device in dongle format. In combination with a KDS femtosecond oscillator, the jitter is perfectly controlled and the sound reproduction benefits from a greatly reduced distortion level.
A brand new application
The iBasso UAC Android mobile application has been completely revised and improved for the release of the DC04Pro. It allows, via a graphical interface, to easily control the various settings of the device: volume, digital filters, gain, output mode, balance or even power saving mode.
Dual outputs
The iBasso DC04Pro provides two outputs. The first one is in Jack 3.5mm format for the use of single-ended headphones, the second one in Jack 4.4mm format, allowing the connection of a balanced listening device.
LED indicator
The iBasso DC04Pro features a linear LED indicator, changing color depending on the status of the device and the audio format being played: red if it is in standby, blue for DSD format and green for PCM streams.
