iFi Audio's Go Link Max portable DAC is the ideal accessory for connecting headphones or earphones to a device with no headphone jack output, such as a recent smartphone. The Max version is an evolution of the Go Link, with a symmetrical structure that enables it to offer a 4.4mm jack output in addition to the classic 3.5mm jack output. This portable DAC is based on two ESS ES9219 Sabre chips, supporting signals up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256.
Ifi Audio Go Link Max: Balanced DAC
The iFi Audio Go Link Max features a USB-C male input and two headphone outputs: a balanced 4.4mm jack and an S-Balanced 3.5mm jack. Each part is clad in a sturdy, lightweight magnesium alloy body. Between the two, a 6cm flexible cable allows convenient use while reducing the mechanical stress applied to connectors and connected peripherals. Moreover, it incorporates individually insulated, silver-plated copper conductors, ensuring excellent conductivity for perfect signal transmission.
Ifi Audio Go Link Max: Dual-chip DAC ESS ES9219 Sabre
The heart of Go Link Max is a pair of ESS ES9219 Sabre DAC chips. Moreover, this DAC offers signal conversion up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and DSD256, and makes use of Sabre DRE (Dynamic Range Enhancement) technology, providing a +6dB improvement in dynamic range for a total of 130dB.
