The Khadas Tea is an ultra-compact, high-performance portable DAC headphone amplifier. Featuring an ES9281AC Pro DAC chip and a QCC5125 Bluetooth receiver chip, it is capable of supporting high-resolution PCM 32bit 384kHz, DSD256, Apple Lossless (ALAC) and MQA rendering via its USB-C input, as well as Bluetooth codecs such as SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD and LDAC. The output power of the Khadas Tea also makes it compatible with the vast majority of headphones on the market, whether they have an impedance of 8 ohms or 300 ohms. One of the strong points of the Khadas Tea is also its ultra-slim form factor, making it easy to carry around, as it will fit comfortably in your pocket.
Khadas Tea: DAC ES9281AC Pro
This portable DAC headphone amplifier is equipped with an ESS Technology ES9281AC Pro DAC chip offering excellent performance with an SNR of 116dB and a dynamic range of 115dB. This chip enables it to support high-resolution PCM 32bit 384kHz, DSD256, Apple Lossless (ALAC) and MQA renditions as well as using specialised applications such as Foobar2000, Tidal and Roon Audio.
Khadas Tea: Bluetooth QCC5125
A Qualcomm QCC5125 Bluetooth receiver chip enables the Khadas Tea to support Bluetooth SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX LL, aptX HD and LDAC codecs. Thanks to aptX Low Latency, you can use the Khadas Tea to play games or watch films without the risk of audio-video lag.
Khadas Tea: plug and play headphone compatibility
The Khadas Tea's 3.5mm jack output adapts to any headphone with an impedance between 8 ohm and 300 ohm, all in plug and play. In other words, the Khadas Tea automatically adapts its output power to suit your headphones, with no need for you to adjust it manually.
Khadas Tea: voice assistant compatibility
Press the Khadas Tea power button for 2 second to wake up your voice assistant, such as Siri, without taking your mobile out of your pocket. What's more, two built-in microphones mean you can answer your incoming calls directly.
Khadas Tea: Dedicated application
The Khadas app, accessible for free via your smartphone, lets you control the Khadas Tea and adjust various parameters such as gain level, EQ and filters.
Khadas Tea: an ultra-slim form factor
The Khadas Tea fits easily into your pocket thanks to its thickness of just 6.25mm and its weight of 73.5g. In addition, integrated magnets allow you to attach the khadas one to your Apple mobile phone, with the magnets arranged to match the Apple Magsafe power supply on iPhones 12/13.
