With the Dawn, Moondrop unveils a portable balanced headphone amplifier and DAC combo that is both powerful and affordable. The Dawn features two CS43131 conversion and amplification chips in a balanced four-channel architecture in an aluminum chassis. This chip allows the Dawn to support very high resolution audio streams, up to 32bit 768kHz PCM and native DSD256, with an output power of 230mW under 32Ω. A dual oscillator allows it to provide a stable and accurate clock signal for minimal jitter.

For its connectivity, the Dawn offers USB-C male input and 4.4mm balanced female jack output. The integrated cable is made of high purity silver-plated copper conductors, ensuring optimal conductivity.
