Questyle M12i Portable DAC Headphone Amplifier ES9281AC 32Bit 768kHz DSD512
The Questyle M12i is a compact, high-performance portable DAC/headphone amplifier. It incorporates high-end components such as an ES9281AC USB DAC chip with integrated headphone amplifier. This DAC chip enables the M12i to support sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and native DSD up to DSD512 for quality sound reproduction. The integrated class G headphone amplifier delivers line-level output power of up to 2Vrms. As a result, the M12i is capable of driving a wide range of headphones and IEMs available on the market. Its compact form factor and transparent face make it both aesthetically pleasing and easy to use. Coupled with a smartphone, tablet or computer, this little DAC headphone amplifier proves an ideal ally for enjoying your music library or streaming services.
The Lightning cable is not supplied, but is available as an accessory.
Questyle M12i: DAC ES9281AC
The ES9281AC DAC chip is a DAC chip with extended functionality since it also integrates a class G headphone amplifier, jack detector and ADC function. It benefits from QUAD DAC™ HyperStream® II architecture, enabling the M12i to support sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 768kHz and native DSD up to DSD512. The G-class amplifier supports up to 2Vrms output for considerable power levels.
Questyle M12i: considerable output power
The Questyle M12i is able to drive a large number of headphones and IEMs thanks to its substantial output power:
- 19mW (RL=16Ω)
- 21mW (RL=32Ω)
- 12.26mW (RL=300Ω)
The M12i will adapt according to load impedance. Indeed, with an impedance of less than 70Ω, the M12i will automatically switch to low gain while with an impedance of more than 70Ω, the M12i will automatically switch to high gain and with an impedance of 600Ω and more, the M12i will automatically switch to a line level output at 2Vrms.
Questyle M12i: MFI certification and high compatibility
The M12i benefits from MFi certification, guaranteeing full compatibility with IOS devices. It is also optimized for Android version 5.1 and higher, driverless Windows 10 (version 18.3 and higher) and MAC OS environments.
