Shanling unveils its Onix Alpha XI1, a balanced portable DAC featuring high-quality components. It incorporates two CS43198 DAC chips, enabling it to support high-resolution sampling rates up to PCM 32bit 384kHz and native DSD up to DSD256 via its USB input. It also features two SGM8262 headphone amplifiers for a substantial power reserve, enabling it to drive a large number of IEMs and headphones available on the market. In fact, it offers output power of up to 180mW on its 3.5mm jack output, and up to 500mW at 32 ohms on its balanced 4.4mm jack output. Simple to use, 3 buttons provide access to main controls such as volume control and play/pause function. Added to this is a small 0.87-inch display with a pleasant interface for simplified navigation and display of essential information.

The two Cirrus Logic CS43198 DAC chips in the Shanling Onix Alpha XI1 portable DAC enable it to support 32bit 384kHz PCM streams, as well as native DSD up to DSD256 via its USB-C input. The two DAC chips work in balanced mode for clear, precise sound reproduction.
SHANLING ONIX Alpha XI1: a high-performance headphone amplifier
Two SGM8262 operational amplifiers take care of the headphone amplification. These low-noise, low-distortion operational amplifiers provide adequate output power for the Onix Alpha XI1 portable DAC, with up to 180mW on its 3.5mm jack output and up to 500mW at 32 ohms on its balanced 4.4mm jack output. This enables it to drive a wide range of headphones and earphones. The 0.4/0.8 ohm output impedance of the Onix Alpha XI1 contributes to its high level of compatibility.

The Eddict Player application lets you easily control the Onix Alpha XI1. It offers the possibility of adjusting the sound rendering thanks to 5 filters.

Excellent dongle
Un dongle bien fabriqué, avec un écran lisible et personnalisable proposant les fonctions paramétrables comme les filtres qui ont ici un impact sur le son. Une application, facile d'utilisation, permettra de faire tout ça directement sur le téléphone par exemple. Pour ce qui est du son, il n'y a aucune emphase dans les hauts médiums et aigus donc il n'y aura d'agressivité avec des intras brillants. La présentation est plutôt spacieuse avec une belle largeur de scène, des médiums avec beaucoup de détails. Le son est réaliste avec une bonne sensation d'immersion. En comparaison de mes autres dongles plus chers, celui-ci est vraiment au niveau! D'ailleurs les amplis embarqués sont de qualité. Ce qui en fait un excellent rapport prix prestations. Pour finir, la finition est bonne, cela semble solide et durable. Très satisfait
