Shanling UA6 Portable Balanced DAC USB-C 4xCS43131 32bit 768kHz DSD512 Silver
With the UA6, Shanling offers a balanced portable DAC that lets you enjoy a high-resolution stream in all circumstances at a contained price. The UA6 uses four Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chips to support PCM up to 32bit 768kHz and native DSD up to DSD512. The UA6 offers two headphone outputs, one balanced and one single-ended, for respective output powers of 360mW and 110mW at 32Ω.
Shanling UA6 : A practical interface
The Shanling UA6 portable DAC has 3 buttons for adjusting the volume and play/pause of your audio tracks. Its aluminium body houses a 1.3-inch colour screen that lets you navigate the settings menu and display information about the track currently playing.
Shanling UA6 : Four DAC chips
The heart of the UA6 is based on 4 Cirrus Logic CS43131 DAC chips, enabling it to support PCM up to 32bit 768kHz and native DSD up to DSD512, while maintaining an incredibly low harmonic distortion level of 0.00025%.
Shanling UA6 : Dual headphone output
The UA6 offers two headphone outputs: a balanced 4.4mm jack output offering 360mW output power at 32Ω and a single-ended 3.5mm jack output offering 110mW output power at 32Ω that can also be used as a coaxial SPDIF output.
Shanling UA6 : Battery powered
The UA6 features a 220 mAh battery combined with an all-new hybrid system that allows the DAC to adjust the energy drawn from the smartphone in real time, ensuring highly efficient operation and stable audio performance. Furthermore, the UA6 features a battery buffer system so that it is compatible with phones with limited USB output power, such as iPhone and Samsung devices.
Shanling UA6 : Low voltage drop regulator
To ensure the most crystal-clear sound reproduction possible, the UA6 is fitted with a low voltage drop regulator, giving an exceptional signal-to-noise ratio of 132dB.
Shanling UA6 : UAC 1.0
To ensure broad compatibility, including with games consoles, the UA6 offers the option of activating a UAC 1.0 mode, so you can enjoy it in every possible situation.
Shanling UA6 : Eddict player
To control the UA6's many options, such as gain level, digital filters and channel balance, you can download the Eddict Player application available on Android. Note that the application is also available on iOS, although Apple's limitations prevent any modification of the DAC's parameters.
