Audio-GD once again presents their prowess in terms of technology and electronic design with this Precision 3S amplifier with 100% discrete architecture

The famous brand of high fidelity audio offers us here an amplifier in the most accomplished form possible with outstanding performance:
It delivers 2x 70 under 8 Ohm and 2x15W under 40 Ohm (For headphones), being completely discreet.

The input stage is in Class A, without feedback on the ACSS input, and letting the DC into the RCA.
Built without OPA, no capacitors on the signal path.
The "Diamond Cross" output stage without negative feedback avoids crossover distortion, thus competing with Class A amplifiers.

The Precision 3S has 2 analog inputs: 1x RCA and 1x ACSS. The output is of course on 2 terminal blocks HP, where you just have to connect your speakers to enjoy.

The result is simple: great musicality, thanks to an exceptional dynamic and a rich sound extremely detailed in every respect.

Mono XLR Bridgeable Mode to RCA or ACSS

The Mono bridge mode of the Precision 3S allows you to output 1X200W per block. It is imperative to have a pre-amplification with balanced outputs XLR classic or with a preamplifier DAC AUDIO GD series NFB . You just have to connect your speakers to enjoy as shown below. Nevertheless, it is necessary to use AUDIO GD proprietary modulation cables available here from XLR to RCA X4 or ACSS to ACSS X4 .

It is also possible to bi-amplify the output of a DAC AUDIO GD NFB preamp in ACSS or RCA via a classic preamp:

Do not forget to remove the straps on the speaker terminals.

Class A Symmetric / ACSS

This Precision 3S is equipped with a high quality transformer, very high quality Nover capacitors, and very high performance MJL1302 / 3281 transistors for the output stage.

This amplifier is also designed around a purely symmetrical Class A ACSS discrete circuit, with separate power supply to avoid any interference or electromagnetic interference on the signal.

Audio-GD PRECISION-3
Class A Class A has the particularity of having its active components still in conduction. The quiescent current remains higher than the output current, lthus imitating harmonic distortion. The signal coming out of the Precision 3S is therefore of excellent quality, due to the absence of this famous crossing distortion of the alternations of the sinusoids.


ACSS Technology

Audio-GD has its own technological signature, called ACSS for "Audio-GD Current Signal System".
This technology allows a simpler and more direct input stage, reducing distortion.
Thanks to the expertise and know-how of the firm, this technology offers a less colorful sound, more detailed, and unparalleled neutrality.

un ampli de puissance au top !
J'utilise cet ampli pour alimenter un étage d'aigu sur des enceintes bi-amplifiées. Les tweeters sont des FOUNTEK Néo X3.0 à ruban.
Le rendu est d'une précision et d'une sobriété exceptionnelles, très loin de la surbrillance que l'on rencontre avec les amplis à lampes.
Ça me fait furieusement penser à mon vieil HIRAGA aux gros condensateurs rouges malheureusement hors d'usage aujourd'hui.
Une réalité rare ! Bravo!

Cest la Precision et la chaleur de la musique!
Personne moi mon francais mais je suis italien et voilà..
L'amplificateur esthétiquement est vraiment fantastique, qualitè de construction impeccable, boite noir vraiment top, comme dimensions je l'avais imaginé un peu plus court mais bon c'est aussi facile a placer sur un table. Le son est vraiment dans le stile de la maison chinois, "warm", détaillée mais pas trop, coherent, image stereo bien salde et placee dans l'espace. J'oubliais mon hifi est: dac audio-gd 11.38, pre schiit audio Saga, ampli évidemment Audio-gd Precision 3s!

Service Audiophonics impeccable: 3 jours et l'ampli était chez moi en Italie! super!

Ampli de puissance impressionnant
J'ai acheté le Precision 3S en décembre 2018 afin de l'écouter avec un préampli Audio GD NFB-1AMP, un lecteur CD/réseau Marantz ND8006 et des enceintes KEF R3.
Après avoir atteint une cinquantaine d'heure de rodage pour le Precision 3S comme pour les enceintes, je peux dire que cet achat est vraiment une réussite. Evidemment, le préampli et l'ampli de puissance de la même marque font des merveilles, mais avec les R3 c'est vraiment sublime.

Donc je mets 5 étoiles d'une pour la qualité de la marque Audio-GD et pour sa capacité à atteindre un rapport qualité prix assez hallucinant, et de deux, pour les conseils qui m'ont été donné par Audiophonics, et la rapidité de leur envoi.

Petit rectificatif à mes précédents posts…
Après l'avoir testé sur des enceintes plus délicates à alimenter, ce Precision 3 avoue finalement assez vite ses limites.
Aussi, mieux vaut le réserver, si non bridgé, à des enceintes de 90dB mini et, si possible, d'une impédance moyenne supérieure à 4 ohm.
Sinon, les basses fréquences deviennent mal contrôlées, et la précision (!) générale régresse (baisse de netteté et de dynamisme).

Bonjour
Commandé lundi reçu mercredi , merci .
j' ai remplacé mon ampli de puissance G&W classe A 2x 50w par le précision 3 ,
après quelques heures d' écoutes j'ai la même sonorité avec peut étre un

peu plus de basse , mais ce n' est que le début du rodage ( 100h d' après Audio GD )
Encore merci a Audiophonic pour leurs conseils .
