A pair of Purifi 1ET7040SA modules

Each channel of the amplifier circuit uses its own Purifi 1ET7040SA module. These incorporate a high-performance Class D architecture with an available power of 2x500W into 4Ω or 2x250W into 8Ω and a high efficiency of 94%. They also ensure incredibly low levels of THD, intermodulation distortion and noise, favoring rich, precise and perfectly transparent sound reproduction, respecting the original audio signal to reproduce your music with flawless, coloration-free fidelity. It also guarantees a wide, realistic sound image for perfect immersion.

The main feature of the ET7040SA compared to its little brother the ET400A is its current capacity, making it stable under 2ohm, and bringing its maximum power to 950W. What's more, the frequency response of these modules is totally independent of load, allowing you to take full advantage of the capabilities of this design, even with speakers that are difficult to drive. The circuit also benefits from a high level of rejection (PSRR), reducing the impact of the power supply on audio performance. The two Purifi 1ET7040SA amplifier modules are linked by a specially developed interface board for optimum integration.

A customized power module

The Audiophonics HPA-S500ET features a specially designed, high-efficiency PFC switching power supply. Delivering a power of 2000W and a voltage of 70V, it provides optimum, clean and stable power to the amplifier modules. The modules are thus able to deliver their full potential and develop their full power, without restriction.

This power supply also ensures very low noise levels, and incorporates two stages of EMI filtering. Output voltages are tightly regulated, and the PFC system offers effective power factor correction for a particularly clean signal. This power supply also features automatic 110V/220V AC switching, enabling the amplifier to be powered without risk.

Audiophonics interface card

The two modules are controlled in phase opposition, to cancel the "Power Supply Pumping" effect. This makes for greater power supply stability, distributing current draw alternately on each rail, thus increasing its capacity. We opted for two-level voltage regulation, to optimize the power supply to the AOPs and the auxiliary voltage supplied to the modules. One Audiophonics OPA1656 is used per channel. These are very low-distortion PDUs, offering maximum transparency with very low THD. They are mounted on a socket so they can be replaced if necessary. To suit all applications, we've opted for three gain settings, switchable via jumper on the underside of the unit.

Balanced & Single-ended connectors

Designed for easy integration, the HPA-S500ET features both balanced XLR and single-ended RCA stereo inputs. Bipolar selectors make it easy to change input sources, and even allow independent control of channels. On the output side, insulated Audiophonics terminal blocks (developed in partnership with AEC Connectors) with 24k gold-plated contacts ensure an excellent connection between amplifier and loudspeaker. A dual 5-12V trigger module lets you integrate the amplifier into an automatic on/off chain for your entire audio system.

This amplifier's trigger needs to be used with a mono trigger cable (sold separately).

Je possède cet appareil depuis plus de deux mois, le son est fabuleux sur toute la bande passante, ce n est pas pas un peu mieux dans les aigus ou autre, mais sur tout le signal sonore.
100 heures de rodage sera nécessaire,
Class A , class ab et les tubes se sont fait dépasser par la class D.

Je suis parti pendant trois jours, j ai oublié D éteindre l amplificateur....
La précision sonore de cet appareil est supérieur à un halcro dm66 .
Les dernières écoutes étaient :
- Jazz in thé pawnshop
- Pink Floyd ( meddle)
- Daft punk ( ram )
- Elton John ( lockdown session ) .

Nous connaissons souvent sur nos systèmes hifi , de temps à autre, de petites améliorations. La , c'est sur toute la bande passante. Testé bien-sûr avec une des meilleures paire d'enceintes mondiale. Audiophonics disent avoir testé leurs amplificateurs sur les haut-parleurs qu ils commercialisent.
Vous pouvez brancher tous les types D enceintes.
Des gens se plaignent de certains effets de loupes .
Si vous possédez des enceintes standards, achetées chez hypermedia, les effets indésirables seront bien présents, mais si vous branché du grand haut de gamme comme il existe peu , l ouverture sonore est sans doute la cure de jouvence la plus adaptée que vous pouvez donner à vos haut-parleurs !!!!
Les Wilson Audio sont des enceintes très riches, rapides et avec peu D égal sur le marché, vous me direz : des enceintes aussi chers avec un amplificateur à 1800 € . Non.... Et bien si !!!!
Jamais je n est entendu auparavant .
Le monde hifi a peur de la classD.

Wilson Audio
Je possède une paire D enceintes Wilson Audio : Watt puppy 7 , préampli Mark Levinson 380s .
J ai eu des blocs monos, tubes , class a .... Et maintenant en class D', mes espérances et mes attentes se confirme : ce type D amplificateur de classD donne une note sonores , et il est vrai que les autres types d amplification sont anciens et ils peuvent maintenant faire place à la class D. Oui , ça fait mal et cela dans le monde hifi .
Mes anciens amplificateurs (19000€ ) de chez Mark Levinson se sont fait rangés par de la classD qui dix fois moins cher... Et c est bien comme ça ! Vivons à l air du temps .
Certains disent que la classD a un effet loupe, non . Ils si holographique, tridimensionnel, ouvrent les micros détails, les voix clairs , basses, médiums et aigus sont parfaits !
L amplificateur ne chauffe pas, aucuns souffle audible dans les tweeters.
Cette appareil est si petit et léger ( je dois m y faire) ...
Belle fabrication, plus besoin de design a la Krell , Burmester. Que du son .

test sur Wilson Audio Watt Puppy 7
mes amplis actuels sont 2 Mark Levinson no.331 en configuration Monophonique . un son tres rapide , des superbes basses , microdetails fabuleux .
ce test sera fait sur plusieurs semaines .

Très bonne amélioration comparé à l’HPA-S400 ET
Utilisé avec un pré-ampli Gustard H26, doux et neutre avec deux lecteurs DAC, un Neo Alpha avec un ESS 9038 pro et un Lumin D2 avec un DAC Wolfson WM 8741, couplé à des enceintes colonnes Triangle Signature Delta. Je trouve, au fil des premières écoutes sur ces deux lecteurs, la restitution juste et naturelle, c’est à la fois neutre et musical. Les timbres des voix sont réalistes et pas accentués. En comparaison avec l’HPA-S400 ET, il y a une peu plus de puissance perceptible, les basses sont supérieures, pour le reste il y a davantage d’ouverture, de micro-détails (à ce niveau évident), cela reste la même signature sonore propre aux Purifi d’Audiophonic, neutre, musicale avec absence de toute agressivité dans le haut médium et l’aigu avec un profil plutôt doux.
J’avais hésité avec le modèle récent 750, le prix de celui-ci m’a décidé ainsi que le retour du conseil technique d’Audiophonic, ce modèle largement suffisant pour mon usage, notamment au regard de mon préampli actuel (pas mal, mais pas exceptionnel) et de mon espace d’écoute. Pour conclure, le 500 me semble plus intéressant que le 400 malgré un prix un peu plus élevé.
