Class AB Dual Mono Amplifier 2x29W 8 Ohm
The Bang is the most compact double mono Class AB amplifier from Burson Audio and probably on the market. Its small footprint allows it to be integrated into any configuration without sacrificing performance. Thus, the amplifier is able to develop a comfortable power of 2x40W at 4 Ohm while enjoying the qualities of a Class AB system, namely organic, transparent and musical sound reproduction.
To supply all its circuits properly and widely, the Burson Audio Bang uses 4 MCPS (Max Current Power Supply) power supplies. These eliminate the problems encountered with conventional power supplies, namely impedance and noise. For this purpose, transistors are used rather than a transformer, limiting the resistance to a level lower than 1Ω and allowing an instantaneous current supply for a richer and more dynamic sound.
In addition, MCPS power supplies operate at a frequency of 170kHz. Thus, any noise at this frequency is well above the threshold of perception of the human ear.
The Bang's input buffer stage offers an adjustable impedance level, allowing it to adapt also to high-end DACs, preamplifiers or smartphones. In addition, this input stage uses an AOP mounted on a DIP8 bracket and therefore easily interchangeable to adapt the sound reproduction of the amplifier according to your listening and your system. The amplifier is delivered with a Vivid V6 AOP V6 for dynamic, transparent and detailed sound reproduction.
