Dayton Audio's DAX88 is an 8-source, 8-zone amplifier for a complete multi-zone audio system. With an easy-to-use control application, Matrio, the DAX88 allows you to listen to your music wherever you are in your home. The flexibility of six stereo amplification zones and two stereo line level preamp zones allows you to use DAX88 with the speakers of your choice.
Warning, before connecting this amplifier you must position the power selector in accordance with your electrical network (220V or 110V).

With 8 sources and 8 zones, the DAX88 offers the ultimate customizable multi-zone audio experience, designed for simplicity, flexibility and easy remote control. With 75W per channel, the amplifier is powerful enough to deliver an immersive listening experience throughout your home. It is also capable of bridging between channels to deliver 180W of power.
Freedom in Simplicity
The DAX88 offers a wide range of analog and digital inputs, including WiFi streaming options (AirPlay, Spotify Connect, DLNA). Equipped with a dedicated WiFi channel, the DAX88 allows you to stream your music directly from your favorite streaming service. Analog input options, including four RCA, seven 3.5mm jacks and two optical connections allow you to use virtually any type of source.
The output flexibility of the DAX88 allows you to choose your speaker system or integrate the DAX88 into a pre-existing system. With six stereo amplification zones and two stereo preamp zones, the unit gives you the ability to use any combination of speakers as well as additional amplifiers.
Multi-Zone Immersion
Dayton Audio's Matrio mobile application simplifies your audio system by giving you and others access to multi-zone control from your mobile devices. With the ability to choose between eight sources and eight zones, Matrio centralizes your different audio systems in a single interface. Matrio allows you to switch sources, adjust volume, tone, and zone balance, and group zones.

Thanks to the integration of a dedicated WiFi streaming channel, the DAX88 makes it easy to listen to the music you love directly from your favorite streaming service.
Command at your fingertips
The Matrio application gives you complete control of each of your eight exit zones. The Zone Control menu allows you to adjust all parameters of the selected zone, including power on/off, source selection, volume control, and mute. Additional features such as bass and treble or left/right balance control are also available, all within an intuitive interface.
All the control all at once
The Group Control menu of the Matrio application will allow you to act directly on previously defined groups of zones. Thus, each setting made for a group applies to all the zones in the group.
Customize your sources and zones
Matrio allows you to customize the names of your sources, zones and peripherals so that you can quickly identify the zones and entries you are acting on. This is also a useful option when you need to group several zones. The modified names appear in the application for all users on your network.
