Power Amplifier Stereo Class AB 2x950W 4 Ohm
Tonewinner is back with a Pro version of the AD-2500, more powerful thanks to its optimized circuits and a bridge function. With the AD-2500 Pro, Tonewinner offers a particularly powerful stereo Class AB power amplifier. This one is indeed able to develop a power of 2x950W under 4Ω while offering a great dynamic range and ensuring a low noise level for a sound reproduction as precise as musical.
A huge reserve of energy
In order to develop such a power, the AD-2500 Pro embeds within a differential circuit no less than 8 pairs of high performance transistors Onsemi NJW0281G and NJW0302G. These are integrated on independent mono amplifier modules, each dedicated to one channel, thus effectively limiting interference for pure sound reproduction. These modules are also installed on the large side-mounted heat sinks, effectively removing the heat generated by the power components.
The unit also provides a single-ended RCA input and a balanced XLR input for each channel. The selection of the input is done via a switch for each channel.
A complete protection system
Such a high power level implies the integration of a complete and efficient protection circuit. Therefore, the Tonewinner AD-2500 Pro is equipped with protections against short-circuits, overloads, overheating, overvoltage and overcurrent.
A massive design
Weighing in at 23.7kg, the Tonewinner AD-2500 is a massive amplifier, clad in an aluminum chassis and two large side heatsinks. Its front panel features an impressive blue backlit vumeter with adjustable brightness.
