The power cable is the first element in a HiFi system, so its quality should not be neglected. We offer you the Audiophonics Stealth, a high-end power cable designed in our workshop in France. This one integrates only high quality components, selected for their electrical performances and their capacity to transmit a clean signal.
Elecaudio CS-331B Cable
The CS-331B from Elecaudio is a power cable integrating materials and technologies usually reserved for products with much higher prices. Thus, each conductor is made of 7 strands, themselves composed of 10 strands of OFC copper with a diameter of 0.25mm each, for a section per conductor of 3.5mm².
These 3 conductors are individually insulated by a PVC sheath and maintained thanks to a cotton pad providing both flexibility and firmness to the whole.
The cable also benefits from a double shielding. The first one uses an aluminum foil, while the second one is a screen made of finely braided copper. Between these two shields, an OFC copper drain wire runs the entire length of the cable to provide a linear grounding for enhanced protection against radio frequency interference (RFI) and electromagnetic interference (EMI).
The whole cable is protected by a thick 3.5mm PVC jacket, ensuring excellent durability. The cable is finally covered by a Viablue Nylon braided sheath of the most beautiful effect.
Elecaudio PS-24GB and PI-07GB connectors
The Audiophonics Stealth is equipped with an Elecaudio PS-24GB Schuko connector and an IEC C7 PI-07GB. These connectors have a robust nylon body. All the metal parts and especially the contact and ground poles are plated with 24k gold with a thickness of 3µ. This plating ensures a greater resistance to oxidation but also a very good conductivity of the signal. On the Schuko side, the conductors are placed in Viablue OFC copper protection ferrules allowing a better contact with the connector clamping system.
