The Odeon-E cable from Furutech is an ideal choice for any sound (or image) enthusiast who wants to optimize their system with a high quality power cable. It benefits from an exemplary design for perfect electrical signal transmission. On the restitution side, this translates into a greater sound richness, a larger sound scene and a greater dynamic.
Thus, the Odeon-E benefits from a cable composed of 2 37-core OFC 0.26mm Copper conductors with Silver plating and a 37-core OFC 0.26mm Copper conductor with α (Alpha) treatment. This treatment consists of a first cryogenization and then demagnetization step, which increases conductivity. The conductors are then covered with Polyethylene (PE) insulation. Then come a Cotton lining, a Paper shielding and a flexible PVC sheath to finish with a braided black Nylon sheath. These materials both limit EMI / RFI interference that could negatively affect the signal, while giving the cable better mechanical resistance.
On the connector side, there is a Schuko FI-E11 plug and an IEC C15 connector. These have Copper contacts, Nylon / Fiberglass insulation and a Polycarbonate body. Their contacts also benefit from the same Alpha treatment as the cable, for maximum conductivity.
