The iFi Audio SupaQuasar power cable is a high-end model, ideal for ensuring clean transmission of the electrical signal between a power outlet and a HiFi device. It has no shielding to minimize capacitance, extremely low resistance for maximum current distribution, and is specifically designed for large amplifiers.
Featuring Active Noise Cancellation 2 technology, it actively eliminates noise in all frequency ranges on live, neutral and ground conductors. What's more, this model benefits from a geometric architecture. It incorporates OFHC pure copper conductors, ensuring optimum conductivity. Schuko and IEC C15 connectors, meanwhile, benefit from gold-plated copper contacts, maintaining excellent conductivity while protecting them from oxidation.
The SupaQuasar benefits from iFi Audio's Ground Zero design, which creates a central core free of magnetic fields. The cable thus offers optimum protection against magnetic fields and has no induction voltage. The result is a considerable reduction in noise.
Low inductance, low capacitance and constant impedance are achieved throughout the cable by using double-helix feeders. Impedance remains constant, even when the cable is bent, thanks to its geometrically symmetrical design.
The cable is covered with a polymer sheath that resists mechanical stress and impact for greater durability, and complies with the RoHS directive.
