Specially designed for high currents

The Pangea AC-9 has been one of the bestsellers of the brand for many years. This AC 9SE MKII version is an improved version, allowing a boost of preformances. This will be ideal for power-hungry systems, such as a home cinema amplifier, amplified subwoofers, power amplifiers...

In spite of its name, the AC 9SE MKII is not a 9AWG cable but a 7AWG cable, thus including larger conductors, notably allowing a marked improvement in bass.

OFC Copper & Cardas Grade One Copper

The first version of the AC-9 would incorporate 99.99% pure OFC copper conductors. This AC 9SE MKII version goes further by combining both OFC Copper and Grade One Cardas Copper, developed by George Cardas for the design of his own high end cables.

This copper is extracted in Arizona and shipped to a factory in England where it is slowly processed and worked to obtain, according to George Cardas,"the best copper on the planet, delivering incredible audio results.

The combination of this refined copper and high purity OFC copper results in an impressively efficient audiophile cable at a low price. Ideal for taking your audio system to another level.

Maximum noise rejection

The AC-9SE MKII therefore incorporates high quality conductors to ensure optimum conductivity. In addition, the use of 7AWG conductors allows high currents to be routed without any problems and its specific design allows for optimised AC power supply in 50/60Hz.

The spiral conductors greatly reduce noise, and the double shielding of the cable ensures noise reduction for high currents.

On the connector side, their design protects them from oxidation and corrosion to extend their service life.

DeathGrip™ IEC

Very often, the weak point in the power supply circuit corresponds to the IEC connector. Here, Pangea selects DeathGrip connectors with wide gold-plated contacts and a robust attachment system.
